I'm glad I converted to Gel liner! The product itself is great, many other dupes available and I believe MAC is on the top of the list.
Not the darkest of black I've seen but it goes on easily.
Pros:Easy to apply, multi-purpose usage: an eyeshadow or eyeshadow base. Cons:The packaging it comes in, I think could easily dry out the gel - but it's easy to restore it. And price.
My HG liner, bar none. It takes some getting used to, but once you can make it work you won't go back to the other stuff again. Wax-based pencil eyeliners used to slide right off, and my eyelids would just eat up cake liner unless I shellacked the color to my face. Waterlining and tightlining? Forget it, until Fluidline came along and solved my eyeliner issues. I apply it with a 266 and it stays in place whether I use a precise line or a smudged one. And when I'm done wearing it, a gentle eye makeup remover takes it all away. I'm hooked on this stuff.
Pros:Pigmented colors, stays in place, great texture, a little bit goes a long way Cons:Takes some practice to get precision lines, a little pricey
Ah, Fluidlines, amazing staying power and nice and silky to put on, i love them and i have blacktrack and dipdown. I love that they can be used as a base also shadow really sticks to it!
My only complaint is how fast they dry up, and i think its because the packaging isnt airtight, so i have to rebuy it too often.
Would def. repurchase!
Pros:stays on forever, looks awsome, easy to apply Cons:dries up too fast
This is honestly the best eye liner ever made! It gives a DARK BLACK look that WONT smudge, and lasts ALL DAY LONG. I can take a shower and come out with all my makeup gone, except my eyeliner PERFECTLY in place. I LOVE THIS EYE LINER and its worth every penny!
MAC fluidlines are great. They are budgeproof. Blacktrack is a nice dee[ black color without shimmer. I would definitely repurchase this product again.
I love black trak gel eyeliner. I never thought I would be w/o an eyeliner pencil. Until I heard all the rave reviews about this eyeliner. I love the fact that it lasts all day. Its easy to work with once you get the hang of it. Everyone should go out an buy buy buy. Now all I have to do is get more colors. lol
Have never been able to wear any kind of eyeliner, pencil, liquid or cake. Would always run down my eyes or disappear within several hours. The liner I can wear is Stila Smudge Pots and MAC fluidline. Both are awesome. I don't have trouble with them drying out, so far, as others have. MAC has more variety in color and Stila offers a larger quanity of product. Long staying power for both. Just love 'em.
This is the most amazing liner of all the liners I have tried, and I am writing this bcause I have really oily skin no liners stay for more than 2 hours ,but Mac Fluidlines are the best,it stays on without retouching it.
It doesnt come off with only soap and water, you will need eyemakeup remover.
-Creamy black gel liner.
-Quite possibly the best black eye liner I have ever used. It comes in a round glass jar and you get 3g of product. You don't get a brush with it and you may have to try a couple before you find the best one to use. I currently use an ultra fine watercolour brush which creates the perfect thin line. This eye liner is much easier to apply than liquid but gives you a similar effect. Once you've applied it, you get around 30 seconds if you want to smudge it or it's there until you take it off. This works brilliantly under The Body Shops eye shimmers. I quite often press them into the liner before it sets which creates an amazing effect. This is a true black liner, there's no trace of any grey tones. I haven't had any issues with it fading at all.
Pros:True black, long lasting, jar will last ages, easy to apply. Cons:Don't leave the lid off, it'll dry out.
This is a a black gel liner. It can be a little intimidating at first, but it's not that hard to use. It stays on all day and you can create a really defined line or smudge it a little to your liking. At first I was using the MAC 266 brush with it, but I found that it was easier with the Essence of Beauty eyeliner brush, which is not angled and not as stiff.
The jar will last you a very long time. It will probably dry out before you can use all of it.
Pros:Long lasting, very dark Cons:Will eventually dry out, but what doesn't?
Provides the boldness and intensity of liquid eyeliners, yet applied with the same ease of pencil liners. This product goes on so smoothly and is error forgiving unlike liquid liners. Applied with MAC's 209 brush, you get precise lines and curves along your lashline and it will last all day. Beware after 8 hrs of wear as this is the lifespan of fluidline and will then begin to smudge. Overall a great product.
i think i'm the only person who lines the rims ALL the time, so it was a pain for me when it wouldn't last more than 1 hour. on the forum, gel liners were recommended for it, so i went ahead and bought it. it really does last up to 8 hours, it doesn't smudge (unless you want it to with a smudge brush or something), and doesn't give "raccoon eyes". i was amazed! i apply it with an angled brush and a little goes a long wear. i was a little hesitant considering it's a gel and i haven't used one before, but it really is very easy to use. my only beef is the glass packaging because i'm clumsy and might drop it, but that's okay because it's such a great product, i'd without a doubt repurchase. i also have this in brassy and dipdown.
Application: This product has done the impossible. It replaced my beloved Benefit Bad Gal Eye Liner. (Which I adored from the moment I was released) This is a true black, gel liner. It glides on with rich pigmentation and is build-able if you wish to increase the intensity. I typically wear it alone or mix it with pigments (especially blue brown!!!) to add dimension and/or change the finish.

Disclaimer: I just realized that some might find the fact that I've reviewed most of the MAC eyeliners suspicious. They are one of the assortment of products that I collect. So I own most of them, and have tested the ones that I don't own or have swapped/sold away.
Pros:Super long wearing, a true intense black Cons:
This is the best eyeliner I have every used - may be the HG!! I have very oily lids and have a problem in that the skin above my crease is sagging so that it touches the part where the eyeliner goes. Therefore, the eyeliner usually ends up on that sagging part! Not with this one. It stays where you put it for the most part, and is much easier to apply with a brush than your standard liquid liner. It also does not dry up and flake. Wonderful, wonderful eyeliner! The saleslady warned me to keep it covered at all times, even while applying, as once it does dry nothing brings it back, so I pass that warning on to you all if you do purchase it.
Pros:budge proof and very workable Cons:price, dries out in container if not careful
ok i must say im hooked to this! i was never into eye liner that much i only owned 1 be4 so i got this one just to test it out. and omg im in love! i use it with my udpp and it doesnt run or anything like that. i love the color range to.
I bought this liner today, and was hearing a lot of good things
about it. I tried it, and it's great on the lids, and stays like a
mountain. Everyone says it's easier to work with, but I didn't
notice any big cons in that ways. But I like the priduct very much...
